Reese Road Leadership Academy student wins MCSD Spelling Bee

, GA – A winner has been announced for the Muscogee County School District Spelling Bee.

Reese Road Leadership Academy’s fifth-grade student Ryan Tadiparthi was declared the winner on February 6 at Rainey McCullers School of the Arts auditorium.

Chaniya Davis from Fort Middle School came in second place and Jack Higgins from Double Churches Middle School came in third place. The winning word was “diffa.”

Ryan will be heading to the state competition and Chaniya will join him as an alternate.

Columbus Mayor Skip Henderson was the pronouncer for the spelling bee.
