MCSD CTAE Students of the Year receive scholarships at awards dinner

CTAE MCSD Students of the YearMore than 50 Muscogee County School District’s high school career, technical and agricultural education (CTAE) students were honored for excelling in their fields at this year's CTAE Students of the Year Awards Dinner.

Each high school Student of the Year was awarded a one-semester, tuition and book scholarship to Columbus Technical College.

The top three students of the year include:

  • Second Runner-up: William Evans, III of Shaw High School: $100 scholarship, plus a one-year full scholarship to Columbus Technical College
  • First Runner-Up: Aidan Parsons of Northside High School: $200 Scholarship plus a one-year full scholarship to Columbus Technical College
  • Student of the Year: Amiya Wright of Carver High School: $300 Scholarship, plus a two-year full scholarship to Columbus Technical College

All of the students honored were nominated by their teachers.
