Waddell Elementary home of the Warriors!

Our goal at Waddell is to provide each student with a challenging, rigorous, and well-rounded learning community. Our School Improvement Plan (SIP) was designed to increase school attendance, raise academic achievement rates, and cultivate a safe and positive school environment. Our classrooms are becoming more student-centered as educators collaborate to have teaching and learning reflect 21st Century practices.

We are teaching students to take responsibility for their learning and behavioral choices. Waddell educators’ use the Gradual Release Process and other research based strategies to facilitate mastery of subject matter. Our school is dedicated to partnering with parents and the community in assisting students to become College and Career Ready. Waddell students are also learning that a strong community is made up of individuals who belong and hold themselves accountable to explore, grow, collaborate, innovate, and create.
