General Information

Former Muscogee County School District students may request a copy of their high school transcript for education, employment, or personal purposes. Beginning July 1, 2016, the cost to receive your transcript is $10 payable with money order, cashier's check, or exact change.

Can you mail an official copy of my transcript to a college?

Yes. We will mail an official copy of your transcript to the educational institution of your choice. Please be prepared to furnish us with the name and address.

Can you mail an official copy of my transcript to my employer?

Yes. Please furnish us with the name and address of your employer and an official copy of your transcript will be mailed.

Can I get an official copy of my transcript sealed to deliver to a company or school?

No. All official transcripts must be mailed from the Records Department.

Can a company verify my graduation date?

Yes. We will need your signature and a copy of your ID, passport, or military ID to process this request.

What is the difference in an official and unofficial transcript?

The official transcript will be stamped "Official" and placed in a sealed envelope and mailed directly to the institution of your choice. The unofficial transcript is not stamped "Official" and can be given to you (the student).

What is the cost to obtain a copy of my transcript?

$10, payable with money order or cash.
