Teaching and Learning - Federal Programs

The Federal Programs department oversees Title I-A, Title II-A, Title III-A, Title IV-A and School Improvement Federal grants as well as ESOL, district & school improvement planning and leadership development.

• Title I-A: Provides academic support and resources to schools serving economically disadvantaged students
• Title II-A: Provides support to schools in teacher quality and ensuring we have highly qualified teachers in our classrooms
• Title III-A: Provides language support to immigrant students and students with limited English proficiency
• Title IV-A: Provides support for students in the categories of well rounded students, safe & healthy students and the use of technology in the classroom
• School Improvement - Provides academic support and resources to schools identified by the state as needing improvement
