General Information

The Plant Services Department is part of the Operations & Facilities Division that primarily provides customer support to all facilities to ensure the environment is conducive for teaching, researching, and learning for the entire school district.

Department Goals

The Department of Plant Services’ goal is to provide the best routine maintenance support in the areas of facilities and grounds that exceed state and national standards to improve the learning environment for all students, faculty, and staff.

Mission Statement

The Mission of the Department of Plant Services is to provide efficient, timely, cost effective support and the technical expertise in the areas of building maintenance, grounds maintenance, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) maintenance in the support of the Muscogee County School District’s mission of educating children.

Vision Statement

The vision of the Department of Plant Services is to be in a position to provide timely and effective maintenance support coupled with a preventative maintenance program to meet the needs of students and staff.
